Trenchless Sewer Replacement
That's right, trenchless. As in: no major excavation required to replace a damaged drain line. Here's the gist of how trenchless pipe repair and replacement works:
- Only one small hole need to be dug. We might even be able to gain access to the pipe from inside your house, thereby eliminating the need to dig.
- Next, we inject an inflatable tube through the damaged pipe. This is called pipe relining. The tube hardens as it adheres to the inner walls of the damaged pipe and forms an impenetrable barrier so your home life can return to normal.
If the damage to your pipe is localized to a single, isolated area, then CT Mechanical Solutions can dig just one small hole and repair the pipe using the same pipe patching technique described above. Once again, that means no major digging.
Even better, the pipe patching (or bladder) material we use is 100% watertight and has a life expectancy of 50 years or more.
