CT Mechanical Solutions: Taking Very Good Care of Your Well Water Pressure Tank.

Your well water pressure tank plays a very important role in getting water from below ground into your home. In addition to storing water, a healthy tank also allows your pump to remain off for extended periods of time. When things start going wrong with a tank, the pump will activate almost every time you turn on a faucet, etc. And if that continues for any length of time, eventually your pump will burn out and fail completely.
Has that happened already? Then contact us right away so we can assess the extent of the damage and, with your approval of our guaranteed up-front price quote, get the job completed. If, however, everything appears to be running smoothly and you want to prevent tank and pump problems, here's what we suggest:

  • A complete well pump and tank inspection by CT Mechanical Solutions every 6 months.
  • You can help your own cause by checking on your pressure tank in between inspections.
You'll find instructions on how to do that in your owner's manual. If you can't locate it, go online and look it up by make and model number, or contact CT Mechanical Solutions for assistance. Call (860) 709-8427.

Replacing Your Water Pressure Tank

Here at CT Mechanical Solutions, we recommend and install Flexcon constant pressure tanks for years of trouble-free water storage. The Flexcon Well-Rite Series of well water pressure tanks consists of heavy duty tanks that are constructed from either stainless steel (Well-Rite) or a strong light weight composite material (Flex-Lite).

What's more, Flexcon tanks are designed with a patented and innovative controlled action diaphragm which eliminates coatings, liners, and plastic bladders. Flexcon well water storage tanks are made in the USA, NSF certified to Standard 61, and carry a 5-year limited warranty.

Does Your Water Pressure Tank Need Professional Attention?

It does if any of the following conditions exist:

  • The well pressure tank is water logged
  • The pressure tank is short cycling
  • You're noticing fluctuating water pressure

Well Water Holding Tanks | Water Holding Tank Systems

Do you have a low yielding well which causes you to run out of water at times, especially during periods of high demand?

A low yielding well is one that produces less than 5 gallons of water per minute. If that's what you're experiencing, CT Mechanical Solutions offers three alternative solutions:

  • We can rehab and expand the capabilities of your existing well.
  • If testing reveals that you have a second untapped source of water on your property, we can drill to produce a replacement well.
  • Or, we can install a water holding tank inside or outside (above or below ground) your home.
These tanks typically hold from 300 to 5,000 gallons of water. Once installed, we'll fill it with water from your low yielding well to provide supplemental supplies for periods of high demand. As an added precaustion we'll also add "run dry protection" for your water pressure and holding tanks should either or both run out of water.

Living with well water can be stressful enough and infinitely more so when things go wrong. So, for the service you need, when you need it, contact CT Mechanical Solutions. And watch us make existing problems disappear while taking steps to prevent future problems from taking place.
